Year 13 of my Photo of the Day project. I missed one day last year.
Month: January 2022
Team Ragfield had a pretty successful Across The Years race a couple weeks ago. In the 48 hour race Melissa ran 136 miles, while I ran 141. In the 24 hour race 12 year old Will ran 50 miles! Personal bests for everyone. Family total: 328 miles.
I camped 19 nights in 2021, which is up from 2020, but significantly down from pre-COVID times.
In 2020 I read 65 books. In 2021 I somehow managed to read 83 books, including a whopping 16 in December, including 12 in the last 12 days of the year. Here’s the list:

I went on a trip with my new 14″ MacBook Pro and a couple small (30W, 60W) USB-C power supplies. I didn’t plan to use it heavily, and smaller power adapters have always worked to trickle charge previous MBPs. The battery died while it slept and no power adapter would charge it. It would not turn on until I returned home and plugged it into the 96W power supply that came with it. Lesson learned?
